Engaging kids in their schools and neighborhoods, building relationships, influencing them for Christ, and supporting them in becoming mature responsible Christian adults.

Our Story:

Springfield Christian Youth Ministries (SCYM) began in 1998 when a group of concerned ministers and other community leaders recognized a critical need and came together to develop a Christian ministry that would reach out to at-risk children and youth living in Springfield's west end.

Since then, SCYM has grown to reach over 250 students at four Springfield city schools each year through programs like STARS, GirlPower, the Public School Partnership, and others.  Click here to learn more about our programs.
